The energy density of EDLC which exhibits electrostatic adsorption-desorption behavior is hundreds of times higher than that of conventional electrolytic capacitor. And the power density of EDLC which has fast charge/discharge ability is 20 times higher than that of Li-ion battery.
The Hybrid-Supercap which exhibits oxidation-reduction behavior stores approximately 2.5times more energy of conventional EDLC of the same size and weight with lower cost per unit of energy.
