As EU RoHs Regulation goes into effect from July 2006, SAMWHA Electronics has prepared and acquired Green Partner Certificate run by Sony on 18th July 2003.

As Sony Green partner certificate is earned, SAMWHA Electronics Co has built the environment friendly system and developed the material with environment friendly concept.
SAMWHA Electronics has minimized the influence of hazardous substance and contibuted to preservation of the global environment. SAMWHA Electronics Co has quickly prepared the environment policy so customeres can use the products with high reliability.

Sony established a set of "Management regulations for environment-related substances to be controlled which are included in parts and materials". Environment-related substances to be immediately banned or reduced were identified, as well as their applications. Sony auditors visit suppliers to check environmental management activities. If suppliers meet Sony's standards, they qualify as Green Partners.
