Samwha Capacitor attained "Environment Quality Certification" from Samsung Electronics on February 28, 2005, as part of its effort to address the EU's RoHs Act(Restriction of 6 Hazar-dous Substances), which will go into effect in July 2006.
Along with the ISO 14001 certification, SAMWHA Electric has adopted an environmnt-friendly product manu-facturing system, and upon gaining the eco-partner certification in response to the EU's RoHs Act, it took a step further to apply the concept of thereby minimizing the impact to the business, while upgrading product quality.
In line with its business policy, 'Always Open Corporate Culture' these certification have helped SAMWHA to swiftly respond to the market demend in the changing environment, thereby allowing it to continuously expand its corporate and customer value.
It is an Environmental Quality Management Assessment certification that is used by Samsung Electronics to evaluate its suppliers. It makes sure that the materials used in the components and raw materials supplied to Samsung Electronics meet SEC's standard, and that such suppliers have the adequate organization and management system to properly handle these materials.
